About Lutheran Press

Founded in 2003, Lutheran Press is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation established to publish and promote the theology of Martin Luther (1483-1546). Although many of Luther’s works are already available to the general public, their publication as part of collected works editions has prevented them from being widely disseminated. Of special interest to Lutheran Press are the smaller topical works of Luther that continue to address the Christian Church today, but nonetheless, remain effectively unknown. In order to achieve its purposes, then, it is the intent of Lutheran Press to make such works available on the internet free of charge, and by mail at a minimal cost. Proceeds from the sale of such works will be used to publish further works.
